Volunteers with a teaching background are becoming an increasingly important part of our education programme. In the spring of 2018, we were visited by an experienced pedagogue, Helen Kolly, with a focus on project teaching, cooperative teaching-learning arrangements and English in Cambodia. She successfully ran a work shop at Hun Sen Prasat Bakong High School in Eulork for six English teachers in Siem Reap district. This is based on existing, state-regulated teaching materials. The feedback from the Cambodian teachers is encouraging. We are encouraged to further develop such education projects in the future.
