Our hygiene programme “SHIP” is aligned with DoE\u2019s health education framework. Back in 2020, we rolled out this programmed at six primary schools and we have expanded to another three schools in 2022. For the first six schools, this project was running over a two-year period from September 2021 to August 2023. We now “closed” our part successfully, with all our quantifiable indicators – as previously identified by our base line survey – met or even exceeded. The District of Education Chief of Prasat Bakong District as well as Chief of Health Department and more than 50 teachers joined the closing event. These hygiene protocols have now- so we are convinced – become part of the DNA of our carefully selected schools, with teaching staff taking over leadership from here. What has been achieved thus far:<\/p>\n

1- Providing 40 rounds of training, evaluation and mentoring to target audience, i.e. teachers, principals and students alike.<\/p>\n

2- Setting up 6 toilet rooms plus urinal for two primary schools.<\/p>\n

3- Installing 9 handwashing stations at all target schools.<\/p>\n

4- Distributing 18 rubbish bins to all target schools.<\/p>\n

5- Distributing 2times of toothbrush and toothpaste to all students at all target schools.<\/p>\n

6-Conduct drinking water virus testing at all target schools.<\/p>\n

7-Provide first aid training to all target schools.<\/p>\n

8-Clean school environment assistant<\/p>\n
