The Income Generation Project is a pilot initiative designed to empower families in need by providing sustainable income opportunities. The first family selected for this project is a single mother of two daughters, who also cares for her disabled father and elderly parents. Currently, the family earns a minimal income through handicrafts and collecting recyclables.<\/p>\n

After conducting a baseline survey to assess the family\u2019s needs and situation, the family was offered the chance to participate in the project. Following discussions, the beneficiary decided to start a pig farming venture, with the aim of feeding the pig and later reselling it as part of a small or micro family business.<\/p>\n

To support this initiative, the pigpen has been renovated, and necessary supplies such as a cooker, pig food, and vaccination provisions have been purchased. The project will run for six months, with ongoing monitoring, support, and evaluation to ensure its success.<\/p>\n

With a budget of $800, this pilot project aims to provide the family with a sustainable source of income, reducing their financial burden and offering hope for a brighter future. By empowering the family to create a self-sustaining business, the initiative supports long-term financial stability and well-being.<\/p>\n
