From January to June 2025<\/strong>, Kamboo Project conducted a series of Day for Girls workshops<\/strong> across four rural primary schools<\/strong>, reaching a total of 295 girl students<\/strong>. These workshops were designed to educate and empower young girls with essential knowledge about personal hygiene, menstruation, and self-care.<\/p>\n

Each participating student received a Girl Day hygiene package<\/strong>, kindly provided by our donor and supporters<\/strong>. While the materials were supplied by our sponsor, our team dedicated time to ensure that the girls received proper guidance on how to use them safely, correctly, and with confidence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

During the sessions, we observed that many girls were unfamiliar with the topic. Some shared that their mothers or older sisters had never discussed these matters<\/strong> with them. This highlights the importance of such workshops\u2014not only for improving health and hygiene but also for building girls’ confidence and sense of dignity as they grow.<\/p>\n

These simple yet powerful sessions have created a safe space for girls to ask questions, understand their bodies, and prepare for the changes ahead.<\/p>\n
