The corresponding SIM subgroup is called \u201cInsight Cambodia\u201d and, once again this year, consisted of eight highly motivated students. From September through January, they conducted research; in February, they identified a school project on-site at Prasat Bakong; and subsequently implemented it together with the local team from Kamboo Project. An elementary school with 150 students is receiving a renovated cafeteria kitchen, which\u2014built in a low-lying area\u2014used to be flooded by monsoon rains and rendered unusable during the rainy season, leading to school closures. Those days are now over, much to the relief of the parents in particular, who rely on the school facilities\u2014some of which are kilometers away from their homes\u2014to provide meals for their children. The fundraising total from this year\u2019s third SIM cohort reached an impressive CHF 4,000.
