Le village se trouve \u00e0 environ 27 km de Siem Reap et compte une population de 2332 personnes (1239 hommes, 1093 femmes). La principale source de revenus est l&rsquo;\u00e9conomie de subsistance, l&rsquo;\u00e9levage et la culture d&rsquo;herbes \u00e9pic\u00e9es. L&rsquo;\u00e9cole offre un enseignement de la maternelle \u00e0 la sixi\u00e8me ann\u00e9e et accueille 470 \u00e9l\u00e8ves \u00e2g\u00e9s de 4 \u00e0 12 ans. L&rsquo;\u00e9cole accueille des \u00e9l\u00e8ves de 2 villages environnants.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9cole se compose essentiellement de deux b\u00e2timents. Le premier b\u00e2timent, fourni par la municipalit\u00e9, comporte deux salles de classe et a \u00e9t\u00e9 construit dans un style traditionnel avec des murs en bois et du zinc. Ce b\u00e2timent est tr\u00e8s vieux, inutilisable et peu s\u00fbr. Le second b\u00e2timent a \u00e9t\u00e9 fourni par une organisation NP et construit en 1997 &#8211; il compte 5 salles de classe. Ce b\u00e2timent doit \u00eatre r\u00e9nov\u00e9 car il est dans un \u00e9tat pitoyable. Il a un vieux toit, des murs instables, ce qui affecte grandement la stabilit\u00e9 du complexe. L&rsquo;\u00e9cole ne dispose donc pas d&rsquo;une infrastructure s\u00fbre et confortable pour se concentrer sur l&rsquo;apprentissage.
