Renovation in Kouk Srok

[:de]Koy Ho (57) lebt mit seiner Frau Sek Rorn (55) und den Kindern Chea Earb (26), Leng Han (15) und Leng Bun (3) in einer verlotterten Hütte in Kouk Srok. Die Fassade war an vielen Stellen undicht und musste dringend repariert werden. Die Küche ist ebenfalls in schlechtem Zustand, so dass die Familie im Freien kochen musste. Kamboo Project konnte dank einer grosszügigen Spende das Material für die Renovation der Fassade und der Küche bereitstellen. Koy Ho hat mit der Hilfe von Nachbarn und Freunden die Arbeiten durchgeführt. Nun kann die Familie wieder unabhängig vom Wetter kochen und geniesst besseren Schutz vor Regen dank der neuen Wandverkleidung.

[:en]Koy Ho (57) lives with his wife Sek Rorn (55) and the children Chea Earb (26), Leng Han (15) and Leng Bun (3) in a scruffy cottage in Kouk Srok. The frontage is already leaky in many places and has to be repaired urgently. The kitchen is in a bad condition as well, so that the family has to cook outside. Kamboo Project provided for the material for the renovation of both the frontage and the kitchen thanks to a generous donation. Koy Ho undertook the works with the help of neighbours and friends.
