Grischa, a four-star superior alpine hotel in Davos, collected a sizeable sum of funds for Kamboo Project over the 2024/25 winter season. Each and every year since its inauguration, for every bottle water sold at the hotel bar, the Grischa team puts 5 Schweizerrappen (equivalent to 5 cents, a nickel) aside for a charitable cause. This time round, Kamboo Project had been selected as Grischa’s social partner. With the season now over, Cyrill Ackermann, Grischa’s General Manager, handed over a cheque to our Kamboo Project Member of the Board Stefan Pfister. This fantastic donation will be used for our hygiene and clean water programme. With the amount raised by the Grischa team, we can help one large or two small schools in rural Cambodia, to install drinking water stations and run our 2-year hygiene protocol “SHIP”, and to sutainably improve sanitary conditions- and thus school enrolment rates on a sustainable base. Kamboo Project continues on its path of fruitful collaborations with private sector CSR partners, and where their mission provides a good fit to ours.
