Our largest project ever has been completed in November 2019 and the official inaugural ceremony took place shortly after the end of Water Festival on November 15. This project is funded by a Swiss enterprise Geberit, in the context of their “Geberit Social Project 2019” (please also refer to: Video Geberit Social Project 2019). Arranh Rangsey Primary School is located in Prasat Bakong District. Currently, the school houses 1138 students and 34 teachers. Geberit and Kamboo Project basically collaborated on four sub-projects:

  • A school building with 3 large classrooms and pleasant temperatures for the school children to learn in.
  • A building for the 34 teachers with modern equipment, which enables the preparation of lessons and also allows conversations and meetings with parents and school children on a smaller scale.
  • A water tower with a filter system that purifies the groundwater and provides water in good quality. The water was tested in the laboratory.
  • A toilet house for girls and boys that 10 Geberit apprentices and two senior project managers equipped with Geberit sanitary systems in November 2019. The wastewater is treated.
