Will & Inheritance

Your last will - prelude for a life full of chances

Help a girl like 11-year-old orphan Khan Ra or a boy like hardworking but poor 9-year-old Pisey set sail for a life journey full of opportunities? Provide them with a fair and healthy school curriculum? Can you imagine that? If so, your bequest will support our sustainable education and sanitation projects for a barrier-free Cambodia. We carefully select for you children with good character and a positive attitude. We provide them with access to timely education so that one day they will be able to participate in society in a self-determined manner and equipped with the necessary tools for equal opportunities. The joy, hope and gratitude of the children – adults one day – will leave deep traces and create a very personal monument for you.

How should I proceed?

With a bequest, you can specify an exact amount that the Think of Me Foundation should receive. In the case of an inheritance resp. a bequest, you can appoint the Think of Me Foundation as co-heir and designate any percentage of your freely disposable inheritance.

With a bequest, you can specify an exact amount that Kamboo Project should receive. In the case of an inheritance resp. a bequest, you can appoint Kamboo Projectn as co-heir and designate any percentage of your freely disposable inheritance.

The law provides for a compulsory share for descendants, parents, spouses or registered partnerships. It is therefore advisable to calculate the mandatory share before drawing up the will. Here you can calculate the mandatory share free of charge and create a template for your will. It is important that you then write down the entire will by hand, insert a date and sign it.

Descendants, parents, spouses and registered partners are legal heirs who are entitled to a share of your inheritance. If wills do not comply with the mandatory share, they are not automatically invalid, but they can be challenged by the legal heirs by filing a lawsuit. We therefore recommend that you determine the compulsory share before you draw up your will(determine compulsory share free of charge here).
