On the campus of one of the rare integrated primary, secondary and high schools in Cambodia, at Nimitt- carefully selected by us in 2015 already – Kamboo Project renovates a school house, drills a new well, replaces contaminated with fresh water, encourages teachers, students and parents to improve the landscape, builds sanitary facilities for 700 pupils and conducts hygienic training in the ‘Aftercare’. Only 33% of primary school students in this rural part of the country go to higher schools. Now the infrastructure has improved so that we have even been able to encourage federal and provincial governments to invest in the school complex (2017). The project continues. We celebrate the success in a moving ceremony with all stakeholders.
