As part of our ongoing efforts to support education in rural Cambodia, Kamboo Project recently renovated the libraries at Romdeng Primary School and Ponro Primary School. This activity was carried out in early 2025 with the support of our dedicated volunteers, who worked alongside our team to clean, repaint, and decorate the library spaces.
The goal of the renovation was to transform the libraries into brighter and more welcoming environments, where students feel encouraged to explore books, read more often, and nurture their love for learning.
Our volunteers—both from the Insight team and individuals such as Paolo—brought their creativity and energy to the task, helping to make these once dull spaces full of color, inspiration, and warmth. Their contribution has had a direct impact on the students, who are now more motivated to step inside and engage with books.
We believe that a clean, friendly library plays an essential role in every child’s learning journey. By improving these spaces, we are not only enhancing literacy but also helping students build confidence, curiosity, and imagination.
We thank our volunteers for bringing joy and life back into these important learning spaces. Together, we continue to support education beyond the classroom.
