School Garden Project: Growing Vegetables, Growing Skills

Location: Prasat Bakong district, Siem Reap Province

Date: January 24 to September 24

Costs: 1500

Status: Completed

Our School Garden Project empowers rural schools to teach life skills through vegetable gardening. By providing seeds, fertilizers, and ongoing monitoring, we support teachers as they guide students in growing organic vegetables. These gardens not only produce nutritious food but also offer valuable lessons in sustainability, responsibility, and teamwork.

Students use the vegetables they’ve grown to prepare their own meals, and their enthusiasm has been incredible. Teachers report that the project has brought new energy to the schools, fostering both academic and personal growth.

This success would not have been possible without the generous support of our donors and partners. Your belief in this project has not only helped us plant seeds in the soil but also in the hearts of the students. From all of us, and especially from the children who now enjoy the fruits of their labor—thank you for making a difference.
