At Kamboo Project, we constantly invest in our staff, either by encouring them to attend individual courses (e.g. language, accounting, management, leadership, communication), or by organising team workshops. As a very busy and productive year is drawing to a close, the Kamboo Project team came together for three days to reflect on achieved and missed objectives, and, even more so, build on its capacities. To achieve this, we invited six external inspirational academic and non-academic speakers to engage Kamboo Project team members in the following topics: Project Management, Mental Health, Personal Growth, Organisational Success, Happiness Advantage, Educational Development and Accounting Standards. The feedback of our staff is encouraging us. Above and beyond the obvious expansion of crude knowledge in these fields, they foster understanding of one another’s strengths and weaknesses, mindful and circumspect judgement and mutual respect. We at Kamboo believe that such interdisciplinary competence is vital to our progress as a sustainable organisation. We want to make sure that our truly rigorous processes do not govern us, but that we breathe life into them! We will continue and strive to get even better in 2025.
