Hygiene monitoring started well

At the beginning of October 2020, Kamboo Project has delivered a food package plus handwashing devices to 100 students who study at the primary school level. This project is to help the community during pandemic time as there are many families losing their jobs, and therefore access to income. The handwashing devices can help children at home circumventing infection by the coronavirus or other viruses.

One month after this event, our team started monitoring for the use of the materials that we had provided for and to make sure they were used in a proper way. Upon monitoring and our surprised unannounced vitits, we find the kids cleaning their hands steadily. When visiting we go through a tutorial on self-help handwashing procedures yet again, to the whole family not only the kids, to ensure everyone understands and intrinsically adheres to best practices.
